ISCFer to ISCF Counselor
For the past years, IVCF SMRU has gone through a lot of challenges. The pandemic affected us greatly, financially and mentally. A lot of transitions and changes happened within the organization. Despite all these, the IVCF SMRU Staff team and volunteers remained passionate and faithful in doing the ministry entrusted to them. And God continually touches the lives of the students.
Stephany Joyce Biason, BSBA-FM 2nd year student from Kapalong College of Agriculture, Sciences, and Technology can attest to that.

Abigail, IVCF volunteer, reached out to Stephany when she was in high school. It started with a simple invitation to lunch together that led her to join a small group regularly where she encountered the Lord. She continued to grow spiritually as she transitioned to college and joined IVCF. She became one of the student leaders in that chapter. Little did she know it was the beginning of more opportunities to grow.
“One day, as one of the GT volunteers in our area approached us with an opportunity to be part of the ISCF ministry, a flood of memories from my high school days rushed back. Without hesitation, I found myself saying yes. It seemed as if a divine force was nudging me to return to the very place where my spiritual journey had begun.

Being part of the high school ministry felt like coming full circle. I was not only sharing the love and teachings of Jesus with the younger generation, but I was also revisiting the very grounds where my faith had taken root. The experience was nothing short of transformative. It wasn't just about imparting knowledge; it was about being a living testimony to the power of faith and the profound impact it can have on a person's life.
Through the highs and lows of this journey, I discovered the strength that comes from surrendering to a purpose greater than myself. The challenges of leadership, the joy of witnessing spiritual growth, and the fulfillment of being part of something beyond the ordinary. It's a story of how a simple 'yes' to an opportunity opened doors to a cascade of experiences that shaped me into the person I am today—a person grounded in faith, fueled by purpose, and forever grateful for the transformative power of saying yes to the call of something greater. To God be the Glory!”
