IVCF SMRUIt’s been a year since I was assigned as the Regional Director of IVCF-SMRU. It has been a roller coaster ride and a faith-stretching experience. Let me share two things I've discovered about myself as I embraced this role.
IVCF SMRUTo be honest, I wasn’t so sure on what am I doing and where are we going when I started last year, I was just responding to the needs of our region, one month at a time. I just followed the Lord one kilometer at a time, and with the help and wisdom of the people around me, I arrived where I am now. We have arrived where we are now just like what the young generation would say “malayo pa, pero malayo na” . We still have a long way to go, but we’ve already come so far.
IVCF SMRULooking back, I can't help but be amazed at how God has provided for all our needs. Our savings ran out, but we never went hungry; there was always food on our table. It's the same with our ministry.
IVCF SMRUHonestly, I am constantly overwhelmed with the responsibility but also excited about what God will do in and through me. I’m excited about how this new role will draw me closer to God even more. I’m excited to see what God has in store for us as a Region.
